Member Announcement Program
The Chicago Dermatological Society is pleased to offer its members a way of making announcements or sharing other information relevant to dermatological practice. Postings will be placed on a page in the CDS website and should relate to the following general subjects:
- Educational meetings and conferences
- Clinical trials (with IRB approval)
- Surveys relating to a research project
- Announcements of a new associate in your office
- Office equipment or practice for sale
We will periodically promote the announcements page, such as in monthly clinical conference emails. However, we are unable to send a blast email to the membership concerning any one specific posting.
All announcements must be submitted using our information using our announcement form.
Do not submit announcements by email. Member log-in required.
Please note the following procedures:
- Your announcement will be removed from the page on the day after the event date, on the date you specify (not to exceed six months from the date of posting), or if no date is specified, 60 days from the posting date.
- Every posting must include the name of a CDS member or designee with phone number and email address where a reader can obtain more information.
- Please be concise in writing your posting, and be as specific as possible. The text of your announcement should be limited to about one paragraph (1,000 characters).
- You may upload a flier or brochure to be included in your posting. We will accept PDF files only.
- All postings will be reviewed by the CDS before being published on the website. However, we will not edit your posting for grammar or misspellings. Most announcements will be published exactly as submitted.
- We will make every effort to post your announcement within 3 business days of submission, but this is not guaranteed. Posting may be affected by the workload and availability of the website editors.
