CDS Dermatology Underrepresented in Medicine (DURM) Mentorship Program
2026 CDS DURM Mentorship Program
DURM was launched in 2022 by Dr. Jordan Carqueville following a very successful fundraiser. Four mentees were offered the opportunity to shadow some of the best dermatologists in the Chicago area for this unique 4 week long learning experience. The program continued in 2026 lead by Dr. Sheryl Hoyer.

The CDS program (DURM) truly changed my life. It exposed me to a career that I once thought was not possible, and I am deeply grateful. I wanted to share that I matched into dermatology at Loma Linda University. I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, and I know that your support five years ago played a meaningful role in helping me get here.
I hope to pay that forward in my own career.
