CDS CME
The CDS offers its members Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit through joint sponsorship with organizations accredited through the ACCME. Stringent standards and procedures are needed to secure Category 1 accreditation. Among these are a needs analysis, identification of gaps in knowledge to be addressed by the educational activity and learning objectives for each conference.
Credits earned through CDS Conferences are documented in a link sent by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM). Evaluations are emailed from CDS directly after each monthly Conference.
CME Credit
CDS meetings are accredited for Category 1 continuing medical education credits.
Please note that it is the responsibility of each doctor to maintain their own CME records. The Chicago Dermatological Society does not maintain a transcript of credits awarded.
