Chicago Dermatological Society CME

The CDS offers its members continuing medical education credit through joint sponsorship with organizations accredtited through the ACCME.  Stringent standards and procedures are needed to secure Category 1 accreditation.  Among these are a needs analysis, identification of gaps in knowledge to be addressed by the educational activity, and learning objectives for each conference.

Prior to February 2010, the CDS worked with the Chicago Medical Society (CMS) for joint sponsorship of CME.  Credits earned through the Chicago Medical Society are documented in a certificate mailed to the physician by the CMS.  For the February, April and May conferences, our joint sponsor has been the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care (CFMC).  They have an online meeting evaluation and CME claim process which, when you complete the short form, will result in your CME certificate being sent to you by email instantly.
